Unloading Goods is a performance involving the exhibition of a series of photographs. The performance starts by showing the steps leading up to the display of the images, the “goods”. The process of transportation, unloading and arrangement – the preparation is itself part of the show. This causes the viewer to focus on the delivery of goods, an incidental, almost unseen part of everyday urban life chiefly noticed for the disruption caused by the nonchalantly double parked delivery vans with their blinking hazard lights. The series of photos, which are fixed to pallets, are portraits of delivery workers unloading their vans, got inspired by the thought, that the cargo area could lead to a Kammerspiel on the streets.

The performance took place on the 28th of September, 2020. Afterwards, the photo series was part of the Modell Berlin exhibition at  St. Matthäus-Kirche, Kulturforum Berlin.
